It's time again for the Battle of the Belgian Beers this Saturday at Jimmy's No. 43 in New York City by Philip S. Kampe

Choose your favorite Belgian style beer.

Each year I wait for the first weekend in dreary December to open my taste buds and sample well over twenty five Belgian and Belgian style beers at Jummy's No. 43 (43 East 7th Street) in Manhattan. This is the sixth year of competition for the Annual Battle of the Belgians. Last year was my first visit. Besides the amazing beers, the cuisine, including a roasted pig, topped off one of the greatest beer events that I had taken part in.

This years event will be judged by many of the 'beer gurus' of the world. They will do a Friday night judging. Then, on Saturday, you can pick your favorites.

Tickets are $65 online at www.jimmysno43.com. (only 50 tickets will be sold)
Telephone 212-982-3006 if you need help.

Jimmy's No. 43 is not the largest space available, so, if you are interested, I would suggest that you buy your tickets beforehand.
Brewers and distributors from around the globe get together for this event. The contest is simple, can the international Belgian style beers match up against the authentic Belgian styles.

The list of beers that will compete include (not all beers show up):
Hitachino Saison (Japan)
